Baby Daugherty

Well, here are some pics! Everything looks good so far. Heartbeat was 158 and it was moving around alot! Dr. thinks I am about a week farther along than I do. According to my calcuations I will be 11 weeks friday, but they say I am about 12 already. Who knows! Maybe its just growing faster. We are super excited and this makes it seem so much more real.

Busy, Busy

I dropped by to give Sarah her birthday gift and wish her a happy birthday, but when I stopped at the garage to get Matthew he told me she was busy working at the computer and it would be better not to interrupt her. I understand about busy! So I will just have to wish her a Happy Birthday and give her the gift when I can find her not quite so busy. It's too bad she had to work so hard on her birthday.

Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Garrett! Six whole years old today! What fun. I went over last night to wish my guy a happy birthday because I knew I wouldn't be able to see him today and didn't want to wait to give him his gifts. He was having a sleep-over with some friends and when I arrived he was happy to announce to me that he was going to be six tomorrow! I think he liked the musical card I gave him better than any of the gifts, he was running around opening it so it would play and then dancing to the music! I had a great time and he was all smiles.

Big News!

Well most of you know by now, I think, but for anyone who I haven't seen yet to tell the news, Chris and I are expecting a baby in September! I'm about 8 weeks now, still kinda early, but we are excited and nervous and everything that goes with it. I will be due around the 26th of September. I had my first apt. a few weeks ago, but they didn't do much but ask me lots of questions about our health histories and take lots of blood and give me a due date. My next apt. is March 4th so I'll let you all know any new info I get. Maybe I'll even have a picture!

Whew! Glad that's done!

JLo, me, Andrea (a friends of Shaina's from School), and Bert (a guy from Grant's work) all pitched in and helped Shaina & Grant move. They were supposed to move Sunday, but got the keys earlier so we started Saturday afternoon and finished up on Sunday. Poor Grant had to work Saturday night so he was really really tired and only had about three hours sleep! We missed out on rain and boy am I glad about that. They have a nice place and now Tank has a yard to play in.

Moving Yet Again!

Well, Grant and I are moving yet another time. We are moving to a rental house this time, so that we will have a yard for Tank. It is a great place only 5 minutes from downtown in a good neighborhood. It's a small 2 bdrm 1 bath house with a basement and a decent sized backyard. We will start moving on Sunday and I can't wait until it is over. For all of you who update your address books and need to know the new address it is 115 S. St Clair Wichita 67213. As much of a hassle it is for you to update your books it is a bigger pain for me to change it for all the bills and every other place that mails us stuff (my least favorite part of moving). My hope is to have everything unpacked and cleaned up at Somerset by Wednesday of this next week. I can't wait to get settled in and everything back to normal. I just hope that the weather cooperates with us on Sunday, although I am not sure it will. Well, that is it for now. Shaina
